Behind the Lens: My Story
My journey with photography began when I received my first simple film camera at around age 10. From that moment on, photography became a lifelong passion. While the classic darkroom eventually gave way to the digital realm of Photoshop, the essence of photography for me has remained constant.
Photography, to me, is all about capturing a fleeting, one-of-a-kind moment—a slice of time that lingers long after it’s passed. I aim to preserve those moments, so they can stay with us forever.
Over the years, I’ve explored many facets of photography, from portraits of people across all ages to capturing treasured family events. Yet, one of my greatest passions lies in the intricate world of freshwater shrimp photography and capturing life within the glassy worlds of aquariums.
Occasionally I’m also photographing pets, both in the studio and in their natural surroundings.
Today, digital editing is essential, and Photoshop is my go-to tool. While software can’t turn a bad picture into a great one, it allows me to make helpful adjustments to exposure, color, and details. When more creativity is needed, I’m skilled in using digital tools to bring each image to life in its best form.
